If the money was supposed to help homeowners stay in their homes - it’s not working. Banks are still not willing to reduce the mortgage amount but are willing to accept a short sale to someone else. Go Figure. Hopefully the new administration can change that and keep people in their homes. If not we have a minimum of two years of further decline in this economy! I don’t get the banking bailout.
