Well, it’s definitely one of the biggest Cash for Keys checks I’ve seen.
This is one of my contractors, Dan Bayless, giving a Cash for Keys check to the occupant of a foreclosed home. The bank paid her $4,000 to move out.
She looks like a lottery winner, doesn’t she?
They’re both beaming.
Probably because when occupants are this happy, Dan’s job is a lot easier. And despite the situation, she’s walking away with a little security. It’s not exactly winning the lottery, but you wouldn’t know it from the picture.
At times like these, I’ll take the smiles over holes punched in walls, paint spilled on carpets, and rooms full of garbage and debris any day.
