The Cal Heights Annual Home and Garden Tour is coming up on Sunday, October 11th 2009!
Have you ever wanted to see the historic homes of Cal Heights & Bixby Knolls?
The Cal Heights Tour is a great way to get an in-depth look at some of the oldest homes in the neighborhood.
Also, if you are thinking about remodeling this is a good chance to look at some great homes with spectacular interior and exterior design.
What does the tour schedule include?
9:30 am – Participants check in at Longfellow Elementary School at 3800 Olive Avenue
10 am – Jane Powell speaks in the Longfellow Auditorium
11 am – 4pm – Tour homes and gardens begins
The 2009 tour will include:
- five Spanish style bungalow homes
- three lovely gardens
- some antique autos
- special speaking engagement by Jane Powell, author of Bungalow Baths and Bungalow Kitchens
- great live music
- Cal Heights Dining Card – discounts to local restaurants
- local home improvement/restoration business representatives
Tickets are $20.00 per person.
Where is Cal Heights?
The California Heights historic district is bordered by Bixby Road to the North, Wardlow Road to the South, Cherry Avenue to the East and busy Atlantic Avenue to the West.
